The EBV capsid antigen conjugate in combination with horseradish peroxidase is a key element of our diagnostic kit, based on the principle of capturing IgM specific antibodies. The conjugate binds to EBV-specific antibodies after they form immune complexes with anti-species antibodies in the rigid phase. Detection occurs after the addition of peroxidase substrate. This conjugate has been successfully used in Vitrotest kits, providing reliable diagnostic performance.
