The detection of specific antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 virus requires the parallel set up of a positive control. It is important to take into account that sera with a high level of anti-SARS immunoglobulins are quite deficient, since antibodies to the coronavirus disappear quite quickly. In addition, the use of blood serum creates an additional risk of infection for operators. To address these issues, we offer a wide range of synthetic positive controls based on monoclonal antibodies to the N-capsid protein, as well as controls based on antibodies to the Spike protein. These synthetic controls offer a variety of advantages, including increased stability, reduced lot-to-lot variation, availability, and easy standardization.
Using of stabilizers for control storage is recommended.
