Helicobacter pylori indirect ELISA controls

Serum is often used as a positive control in enzyme immunoassays for the detection of specific antibodies to Helicobacter pylori. However, serum and plasma may be potential sources of infection. To reduce this risk, we propose positive synthetic controls based on monoclonal antibodies to the recombinant CagA protein. These synthetic controls provide a number of advantages, including increased stability, minimized lot-to-lot variation, availability, and easy standardization. For many years, such synthetic controls have been successfully used in the production of Vitrotest diagnostic kits.

In addition, we offer specialized stabilizers to ensure long-term stability of internal controls.
