CMV indirect ELISA controls

Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is one of the main diagnostic methods used to detect CMV-specific antibodies. A critical component of the ELISA test is the positive control, typically serum containing CMV-specific antibodies. However, a major challenge in diagnosing CMV is the shortage of low-avidity positive sera needed for diagnostic avidity tests.
To overcome this limitation, we provide a comprehensive solution by providing internal controls covering both low and high avidity antibodies. Among them there are both low- and high-avidity controls based on monoclonal antibodies to the recombinant p150 protein. These products have consistently demonstrated their reliability and usefulness in diagnosing CMV, facilitating accurate testing results.
To maintain long-term stability of internal controls, it is better to use stabilizers recommended by us.
