Giardia lamblia native antigen Ag
Description
Somatic antigen of Giardia lamblia produced by Vitrotest, obtained from Giardia trophozoids grown on a special nutrient medium. The collected trophozoids were washed and lysed. The antigenic extract was obtained by fractionating the mixture.
Soluble and insoluble somatic antigen fractions can be used to detect specific antibodies to Giardia lamblia trophozoids in serum in both ELISA and CLIA or Lateral Flow Immunoassay.
